Thanks to it we can “get inside” your eye and thus check and assess problems in eyelids and/or eyelashes, dry eye, conjunctivitis, keratitis, corneal ulcers, cataracts, etc…
The slit lamp is also particularly useful for all types of contact lens fittings and subsequent follow-up.
