Contact lenses are an alternative (never replace glasses) for daily use, for sports or for those events where you get dressed up and glasses are not necessary.

Nowadays there are different types of materials in the manufacture of contact lenses, for more sensitive or drier eyes, for people who wear them for a few hours or for those who need to wear them longer, only for distance vision defects or if the defect is both distance and near (progressive)…we are sure to find the most suitable for you. We also teach you how to handle them, maintain them, put them on and take them off, we have techniques and above all patience for it.
There are not only the soft contact lenses we are all familiar with. There are exceptional cases such as keratoconus, corneal transplants, dry eye syndrome, post-refractive surgery, intolerance to the material, etc… in which the eye does not allow this type of contact lenses and therefore scleral contact lenses, rigid gas permeable, orthokeratology,… should be used. These are customizable to the millimeter and with different materials for this type of cases.
